Collinwood

Upper Collinwood consists of Tinley Castle, Umano Humes (their hume breeding facility), the Nursery, and a handful of animal schoolhouses.

The only residence here is the Tinley Palace, and only Nobles who work closely with King Tarak and Queen Celestia Fae live within the palace. No one is allowed into Tinley Castle without the expressed permission of the Crown and their advisors.

This area is the meat of the city, and where most Middle Class animals live and make their living. This area is a mix of residential and commercial endeavors. Most homes are a patchwork of necessity, often burrowed out of the more sturdier ruins left over.

Businesses have both carved out their own shops from the ruins and sell their goods on the streets using wooden carts and stands to show off their varying goods.

Crime is moderate here as knights do their best to keep order on the streets.

Markay Strip is the most happening place in Collinwood. It's a long street lined with merchant stalls and stores that carry almost anything one would need. There are pet shops, the pound, the vet, restaurants and eateries, all kinds of shopping and trade, pubs, and several apothecaries.

During the day, this street is bustling with many different animals and their Humes. During the night, it's lit by candlelight and rather quiet, given at that time mainly only the eateries and restaurants are open.

Nocturnal animals may choose to keep their stores open after the sun sets, however, most stalls close up shop for fear of thieves lurking about at night.

Little Ifre is considered to be Collinwood's residential area. Dotted by many redwoods, bushes, and naturally growing flowers, it's a very beautiful place in the spring and fall. Here, there are many different kinds of houses. There are no rules - save for respect your neighbors' property and space. If there's an empty place, you can build on it. If there's an empty shelter, you can claim it.

There's a medium-sized park nearby with a playground for young animals to play in. A mile or two down the main road takes you to Tiger's Eye Lake - a beautiful swimming and watering hole that families flock to on hot summer days.

Lower Collinwood is easily the area where the dangerous criminal types congregate. It's the furthest point from Tinley Castle, and as such, does not get guarded as well as other parts of Collinwood. On the contrary, most guards that do get appointed here find themselves guarding the entry point, which is also found in this area.

Animals venturing to this part of Collinwood should be wary. The poor congregate here as well as the unsavory. The animals found here don't have much and are often so desperate they are willing to do anything to survive.

The outer borders of Collinwood where animals have not yet developed or begun rebuilding. These parts of the city are extra dangerous, due to their state of decay and often crumbling structures. These ruins cover Collinwood on all sides, and often must be passed through to reach the Cedarville Forest and beyond.

Cedarville Forest

Cedarville Forest is a vast and beautiful forest that surrounds Collinwood's outer city portions in much of the south and west. Thick trunked trees with twisting branches stand together in this forest. Many unevolved animals can be found in these woods, such as deer, elk, rabbits, squirrels, and other prey.

One can find crude little homes made between the trees and in small clearings. Animals, who wish to take no part in Collinwood's sprawling city limits, might opt for living here instead.

It is rumored that there is a colony of humans tucked away deep in the forest. No animal has ventured deep enough to find them, but perhaps the stories are true?

Despite its dark name, Fleeting Souls Meadow is actually a very nice place. In the summer, its rolling hills are dotted with colorful wildflowers, often visited by fluffy white rabbits who come out to snack on the tasty clovers. In the winter, endless white hills stretch out farther beyond what the eyes can see.

Many animals who choose to raise livestock may live out in the meadow, constructing a stable or a fenced in pasture to fit their needs. The endless grassy plains are perfect for endlessly grazing hoofed animals.

There is the abandoned ruins of an old military base out here, but otherwise it's rather peaceful and serene.
