We knew this one would be different when they killed Superman. It was war like we’d never seen before. Invaders from the stars that our superheroes couldn’t stop. They attacked our cities, destroyed some of our most famous and infamous fighters, and were only repelled with genius and sacrifice. Now, only a few years later, we’re still picking up the pieces. We’re What they Left Behind and we’re trying to build a better future.



What they Left Behind is a post-war DC/Marvel crossover site with a focus on young heroes and villains. We welcome both canon and original characters. We hope to write with you soon!
