Hey everyone! We hope you all had great holidays and are settling well into the new year.

This is our first, official newspost, and we'd like to regularly release these every two months or so. Please read below as we'd like to make some announcements!

Changes

Dropping 1:2 Character Ratio

Seeing no current issue with the balance between animals and humans on board, we're going to drop the requirement that members (new and old) have one animal played on board before bringing in a human character.

Should we see this becoming drastically imbalanced again in the future, we may reinstate it.

Announcements

February Activity Check

We will be holding a background Activity Check on February 15, 2021. No one has to do anything except ensure that they've at least posted once this month. Normally, these will be run on the first, but to give everyone some time between now and the Activity Check, we're pushing the first one back a few weeks. 

Those that have not posted will receive a message warning them that their character is on the chopping block, they will then be given two weeks to post, and then will be removed from the game should they fail to post within the given time. Of course, as always, anyone removed after the activity check can always rejoin the game.

From this point, Activity Checks will be run bi-monthly on the first of the month. These, too, will be background Activity Checks. All you have to worry about is ensuring you're posting at least once a month to avoid receiving an activity warning.
