| Magda was born into the system, one of the first generations to be born to the Crown's breeding project. Due to this, she knows the system well - she's been working it her entire life. Having more memories of kind, nursemother animals in the Nursery than her actual mother, Magda finds solace in the foreign glimpses she gets behind closed eyes, in REM sleep. Magda's life in Collinwood has been a lonely one. Passed from animal, to animal, she picked up on a lot and lengthened her resume. She's currently the Servant Hume of an old dog named Gus, who runs a shop in Collinwood. There, Magda keeps stock and assists customers with their trade. Magda is happy in Gus' care, though she knows in her heart that she will probably outlive him. The dog is old, sickly, and despite his kindness, he won't last forever. --- Magda is a worn woman with a scarred, pallid face and silver gray hair. Magda is petite and worn, from years of work. Her body sports numerous scars - both large and small - from labor, clumsiness, and abusive owners. Her facial features were once beautiful, though beauty escapes her now as her youthfulness eludes her the more years that pass and the harder the work becomes. She still holds a dignified air about her, even though she's never been dignified in her entire life. But because she was born in the system, she knows there's no such thing as 'retirement' for servants; they would work her until death... and only in death will she find eternal peace. --- Magda has learned to be obedient to the right eyes above all else in this world. Though, she's known to be an opportunist and can be underhanded when the opportunity arises. To others, she may seem abrupt, aloof, and business-driven, as she does not trust most in the city, and can't ever be sure in Collinwood. | |
